Design of a tree?

It seems like a good direction to have a prompt at each class to respond to, but could we also somehow structure the prompt in the form of a question or questions? This would allow us to have some sort of result at the end of the class. Everyone’s answer would be different, but they would all be influenced by the opinions of everyone there. We could even go around at the end of the session and have everyone say their answer to the original question.

Also, it’s a good idea to evaluate an object and reconstruct/deconstruct it’s design process, but it seems like our preconceptions about objects will get in the way. For this reason, maybe it would be good to do this for an object which was not made by human hands. Imagine, for instance that a tree was a designed object. What problems might it have been trying to address, and how does the solution answer these issues? How could it have been done better?
